In a similar manner, the Arun Kabeli Hydropower Project, found in Kabeli Khola on the Taplejung border, has also experienced damage.
Similarly, the floods have caused damage to the suspension bridge linking Lamitar to Chamlingdanda and another suspension bridge located near Yangworak-2 Dobhan. Additionally, two bridges that were under construction have been destroyed by the flood. A 41-foot-long bridge that was under construction over the Mewa stream in Yangwark Municipality-2 Dobhan, part of the Pushpalal (Madhya Pahad) Mid-Hill Highway, has been swept away by the flood.
Moreover, families from Yangworak Municipality-1 have been forced to evacuate due to a landslide triggered by continuous rainfall. One family has been relocated to a secure area after a landslide posed a threat to their residence.
The families of Mohanlal Khawas and Kabir Khawas from Yangworak-1 Lambkhola, as well as Ganga Prasad Begha from Kopche, have been displaced following the destruction of their homes by the landslide.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Anish Kumar Karna, reported that six family members were displaced after the landslide endangered Bhagiman Begha's house in the same vicinity.
The residences of Balananda Begha and Maitraj Begha from Kopche, along with Rabin Rai, Ramkumar Rai, Ran Bahadur Rai, Mankumari Gurung, and Dambar Bahadur Gurung from Chamlingdanda, as well as Ratnaman Rai, Lachuman Rai, Rajesh Rai, Kamal Bahadur Rai, and Sher Bahadur Rai from Ekrate, and Yam Magar, Purnakumar Magar, and Sujan Magar from Kholaghari Magardanda are also at risk due to the flooding.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Karna stated that traffic has been entirely disrupted in that area.
