2500 Applicants Seek Rs 330 Mn worth of Siddhartha Equity Fund on 1st Day

Nearly 2500 applicants have applied for Rs 330 million worth of Siddhartha Equity Fund (SIDDEF) on the very first day of its issuance, according to Siddhartha Capital, issue manager of the fund.

The capital is issuing 120 million units of mutual fund worth Rs 1.20 billion. The interested investors can apply for the minimum of 100 units to the maximum of 240,000 mutual fund units from October 11- 15.

The investors can apply for the units from Siddhartha Capital as well as all ASBA registered BFIs.

The mutual fund has maturity period of 10 years, however, the unit-holders can trade the mutual fund units in the secondary market after its listing in NEPSE.

Siddhartha Equity Fund is promoted by Siddhartha Bank under the management of Siddhartha Capital. Earlier, the capital successfully operated Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme and Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme.
