Life Insurance Company
Out of the 7 life insurance companies, only 4 companies distributed the dividend to their shareholders. Among them, shareholders of Nepal Life Insurance were provided the highest dividend of 70.5 percent including 42 percent bonus share and 28.5 percent cash dividend.
Similarly, Prime Life distributed 12.5 percent and Asian Life distributed a 4 percent bonus share. Moreover, Surya Life Insurance distributed 12 percent stock and 0.632 percent cash dividend.
However, LIC Nepal, Gurans Life and National Life insurance have not been able to conduct AGMs of the last FY.
General Insurance Companies
Out of the 15 non-life insurance companies, 11 companies distributed the dividend. Among them, Shikhar Insurance distributed the highest dividend of 30.52 percent including 29 percent bonus share and 1.52 percent cash dividend.
Meanwhile, Sagarmatha, United and IME General did not announce any dividend and Rastriya Beema Company has not conducted AGM since the FY 2060/61.
