Api Power and NEA Signs PPA Agreement for Solar Projects

Api Power Company (API) has finalized power purchase agreement (PPA) of two upcoming solar power projects with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

Api Power is developing 1MW solar project in Dhalkerwar, Dhanusha and Simara, Bara. The PPA has been finalized in Rs 7.30 per unit for 25 years.

Jagadishwarman Singh, Deputy Executive Director of Planning, Inspection and IT Department of NEA and Sanjeev Neupane, Managing Director of Api Power signed the agreement paper on behalf of their respective organization.

The power will be connected to 11KV Parwanipur Substation. Although NEA has given 10 months of period to complete the project, we are determined to complete it within 7 months," said Sanjeev Neupane.
