Unilever Nepal Logs Net Profit of Rs 999 Mn

Unilever Nepal (UNL), the stock with the highest market price, has shown normal growth in the last FY. The company has logged a net profit of Rs 999.4 million in the last FY compared to Rs 965.2 million of the previous FY.

The stock that is priced at Rs 22,573 in the market has maintained EPS of Rs 318. The company sold its production worth Rs 4.86 billion in the last FY which increased by Rs 420 million compared to the previous FY.

Although the company slashed its expenses, increasing cost of raw materials constraint its profit growth. The company spent additional Rs 270 million in raw material to Rs 2.51 billion in the last FY compared to previous FY.

In the review period, the company spent Rs 3.87 billion in advertisement, staff expenses, operating expenses and services.

Unilever Nepal that has a paid-up capital of Rs 92.1 million has reserve fund of Rs 1.81 billion.

The company has net worth per share of Rs 2153 and P/E ratio of 22.98 times.
