NEPSE Suspends Trading of Nadep Laghubitta and Nepal Lube Oil

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has suspended stock trading of Nadep Laghubitta and Nepal Lube Oil on Monday citing delayed information submission of dividend.

As per Murahari parajuli, spokesperson of NEPSE, both companies held up information regarding their proposed dividend, thus, NEPSE suspended their trading to investigate the matter.

The board of directors meeting of Nadep Laghubitta took the decision of proposing 30 percent stock dividend on November 28, however, the company submitted the information to NEPSE on November 30 only.

Similarly, Nepal Lube Oil decided to propose 30 percent cash and 10 percent stock dividend on November 29, but submitted the information to NEPSE on December 2 after market closure.

Nepal reports 1,172 new COVID-19 Cases; 637 in Valley

On Wednesday, Nepal has confirmed 1,172 additional COVID-19 cases. With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached 67,804 in the country. Out of them, 17,414 are active cases.
