Last day to secure dividend of 6 companies including 3 commercial banks

Today is the last day to secure dividend of six listed companies including three commercial banks. The companies include Himalayan Bank, Mega Bank, Janata Bank, Purnima Bikas Bank, Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta and Naya Nepal Laghubitta.

The companies are closing their books on December 31, thus, the shareholders registered in their books till December 30 will be eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.

Himalayan Bank (HBL) is conducting its 12th AGM on January 14 in Karki Banquet, Maitighar, Kathmandu at 11:00 AM.

The meeting is supposed to endorse a proposal of distributing 10.7895 percent cash and 5 percent stock dividend to its shareholders. Moreover, the AGM will delegate authority to BOD to fulfill any legal requirement as per regulatory bodies.

Mega Bank (MEGA) is conducting its 8th AGM on January 14 in Rastriya Sabhagriha Marg, Kathmandu at 11:00 AM.

The meeting is supposed to endorse a proposal of distributing 6.85 percent cash and 1.00233 percent stock dividend to its shareholders. Moreover, the bank will amend its article of association to facilitate share brokerage function by itself or by establishing a subsidiary company.

Furthermore, the AGM will delegate authority to BOD to identify potential merger or acquisition or foreign strategic partner and appoint DDA evaluator.

After the bonus share distribution, the paid-up capital of the bank will reach Rs 10.38 billion.

Janata Bank (JBNL) is conducting its 9TH AGM on January 13 in Anupam Foodland and Banquet, Kathmandu at 11:00 AM.

The meeting is supposed to endorse a proposal of distributing 8.50 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.

Moreover, the meeting will delegate authority to BOD to fulfill required procedure to forward share broker services and to identify potential merger or acquisition partner.

 Purnima Bikas Bank (PURBL) is conducting its 11th AGM on January 11 in Hotel Pauwa Pvt. Ltd. Rupandehi at 9:00 AM.

The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 5 percent stock and Rs 33.3 million cash dividend to its shareholders.

Moreover, the meeting will amend its Ariticle of Association and regulations and delegate authority to BOD to forward merger or acquisition process.

Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (MSLB) is conducting its AGM on January 13  in the premises of its corporate office at 11:00 AM.

The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 20 percent stock dividend to its shareholders.

Naya Nepal Laghubitta (NNLB) is conducting its 10th AGM on January 14 in Hotel Jugal, Dhulikhel at 11:00 AM.

The meeting will approve the financial reports of the last FY, appoint auditor for the current FY, elect three directors each from promoter and general shareholders group.
