Womi Microfinance Raise Net Profit by 41.97%

Womi Microfinance (WOMI) has increased its net profit by 41.97 percent to Rs 26.2 million in the second quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 18.4 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

In the review period, the company raised its reserve fund to Rs 75.5 million from earlier Rs 44.4 million. Similarly, it increased its operating profit by 42 percent to Rs 41.2 million from earlier Rs 29 million and its bad debt has decreased to 0.73 percent from 0.84 percent in the review period.

The paid-up capital that was Rs 77.6 million in the corresponding period of the last FY increased to Rs 101 million during the period.

The company has EPS of Rs 51.94, net worth per share of Rs 174.73 and P/E ratio of 21.83 times.
