Dibyashwari Hydro in Rs 2.5 Mn Loss

Dibyashwari Hydropower Company (DHPL) has incurred loss of Rs 2.5 million in the second quarter of the current FY in the prefix of financial cost of Rs 37 million.

However, compared to the corresponding period of the last FY, the company has improved itself in terms of net loss. In the review period of the last FY, the company incurred loss of Rs 9.3 million. It decreases the loss by Rs 6.8 million in the review period.

Dibyashwari Hydropower earned Rs 57.3 million through sale of electricity during the period. The sales increased by Rs 36.9 million compared to Rs 20.3 million of the review period of the last FY.

Similarly, the company mobilized Rs 667.3 million long term loan during the period.

In the review period, the company with Rs 164 million in paid-up capital has reserve loss of Rs 100.7 million. It has EPS of Rs 3.84 and net worth per share of Rs 61.85.
