Ramji Regmi, Director of Nepal Rastra Bank inaugurated the joint transaction amid an official program.
After the acquisition, Jyoti Bikas Bank has become the biggest development bank in terms of paid-up capital. The joint entity has paid-up capital of Rs 3.10 billion.
Similarly, the numbers of clients have reached 240,000. The bank has deposit collection of Rs 26.38 billion and loan extension of Rs 23.57 billion.
After the acquisition, the bank will serve its customers through 95 branches, 23 ATM s and 2 extension counters.
