CBIL Capital to issue Citizens Mutual Fund 2 from May 23

CBIL Capital, a subsidiary company of Citizens Bank is issuing Citizens Mutual Fund 2 from May 23. The capital will issue 100 million mutual fund units worth Rs 1 billion to the general investors.

As per the capital, the mutual fund units having a face value of Rs 10 will have maturity period of 7 years. Out of the total offered units, 15 percent i.e. 15 million units have been allocated to Citizens Bank International as seed capital. The remaining 85 million units will be issued to the general public.

The interested investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units to a maximum of 20 million units of mutual fund through meroshare software or all C-ASBA approved BFIs.

The issue will close early on May 27 and lately on June 23.
