Loss of Dibyashwari Hydropower Increases

The net loss of Dibyashwari Hydropower has increased by 3.59 percent to Rs 20.6 million in the third quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 19.9 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

Although the income of the company from the sale of electricity increased during the period, increased depreciation cost and financial expenses increased its net loss.

The company that spent Rs 458,000 in depreciation in the review period of the last FY spent Rs 23.3 million in the review period of the current FY. Similarly, its financial expenses increased by 56.95 percent to Rs 54.1 million from earlier Rs 34.5 million.

In the review period, the company raised its income by 107.69 percent to Rs 68 million from earlier Rs 32.7 million.

The company with Rs 264 million in paid-up capital has reserve loss of Rs 118.8 million. The company maintains loss per share of Rs 10.42 and net worth per share of Rs 55.
