Out of the total debenture, the bank is issuing 40 percent debenture worth Rs 800 million to general public. The rest of the 60 percent debenture worth Rs 1.20 billion will be privately financed.
Nepal Bangladesh Bank has appointed Nabil Investment Banking as its issue manager for the debenture issue. As per the bank, the debenture will yield 10.25 percent interest payable in every six months and will mature in 10 years.
The interested investors can apply for the debenture from meroshare software as well as all C-ASBA approved BFIs. The issue will close early on May 28 and lately on June 23.
