Deva Bikas and Western Development Bank to start joint transaction from July 15

Deva Bikas Bank and Western Development Bank are set to commence joint transaction from July 15. Both development banks endorsed the proposal of acquisition from their respective AGMs on June 27.

Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank provided the final approval for the acquisition on July 10 while Company Registrar Office approved the acquisition on July 12.

The joint entity will operate under the name of Deva Bikas Bank and the headquarter will remain in the registered office of Deva Bikas at KMC, ward no 1.

As per the banks, both banks will close their operation on July 14 for data migration.
