NIC Asia Starts Issuing 5th Debenture from Today

 NIC Asia Bank (NICA)  has started issuing '10.25 percent NIC Asia debenture 2083/84' from July 22-25.

Out of the total 4,400,000 units of debenture, the bank is issuing 1,760,000 units of debenture worth Rs 1.76 billion to the general public while the remaining 60 percent will be financed privately.

The debenture having a maturity period of seven years will yield 10.25 percent interest paid semi-annually.  The interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 and maximum of 2.2 million units of debentures at Rs 1000 per unit.

Care Ratings Nepal has assigned "CARE-NP A' grade to the issuance indicating low credit risk. Instruments with 'CARE-NP A' rating are considered to have an adequate degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations, in Nepal.

The company has appointed Sanima Capital as its issue manager. The interested investors can apply for the debenture from all C-ASBA approved BFIs.
