NMB Microfinance Increases Net Profit by 86%

NMB Microfinance (NMBMF) has earned a net profit of Rs 60.9 million in the fourth quarter of the last FY compared to Rs 32.7 million of the corresponding period of the previous FY.  The net profit increased by 86.45 percent in the review period.

During the period, the company collected deposit of Rs 1.08 billion, borrowed Rs 1.96 billion and extended loan of Rs 3.07 billion.

In the review period, the company earned net interest income of Rs 207.4 million compared to Rs 165.6 million of the previous FY.

The company with Rs 162 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 143.3 million. During the period, the company logged non-performing loan of 2.02 percent, EPS of Rs 37.64, net worth per share of Rs 188.46 and P/E ratio of 26.30 times.
