Support Microfinance Increases Net Profit by 122%

Support Microfinance (SMB) has increased its net profit by 122 percent to Rs 5.4 million in the fourth quarter of the last FY compared to Rs 2.4 million of the corresponding period of the previous FY.

The company with Rs 60 million in paid-up capital has a reserve fund of Rs 8.9 million.

In the review period, the company collected a deposit of Rs 137.4 million and extended loan of Rs 661.8 million. During the period, the company earned net interest income to Rs 40.2 million.

The company maintained a non-performing loan of 1.36 percent, EPS of Rs 9.08,  net worth per share of Rs 114.84 and P/E ratio of 42.17 times during the review period.
