National Life Insurance Earns Net Insurance Premium of 7.80 Bn

National Life Insurance (NLICL) has earned a net insurance premium of Rs 7.80 billion in the fourth quarter of the last FY compared to Rs 6.13 billion of the corresponding period of the previous FY.

During the period, the company earned Rs 38.2 million in reinsurance commission, Rs 2.09 billion in investment, loan and other income.

Similarly, the company increased its net profit by 12.72 percent to Rs 336.3million from earlier Rs 298.3 million.

The company with Rs 3.74 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 918.6 million, life insurance fund of Rs 27.19 billion and disaster fund of Rs 216.9 million.

Till date, the company has issued 721,008 insurance policies and has collected total insurance premium of Rs 8.02 billion. It has paid Rs 2.65 billion on 14,754 insurance policies and has outstanding claim payment of Rs 265.4 million.

The company has EPS of Rs 11.18, net worth per share of Rs 130.55 and P/E ratio of 52.31 times.
