Both companies are closing their books on September 17 for the upcoming AGMs, thus, the shareholders registered in their books till September 15 will be eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.
Citizens Bank International is conducting its 13th AGM on September 27. The meeting will endorse a proposal to distribute 12 percent cash dividend worth Rs 1.45 billion and 3 percent bonus share worth Rs 251.1 million to the shareholders.
Similarly, Prime Life Insurance is conducting its SGM on 24th September. The SGM will endorse a proposal of distributing 12.50 percent stock and 0.658 percent cash dividend for tax purpose to its shareholders.
The company will distribute Rs 223.1 million as bonus share and Rs 11.7 million as cash dividend for tax purpose.
After the dividend distribution, the paid-up capital of the company will reach the minimum requirement of IB.
