Net Profit of Support Microfinance Increases

Support Microfinance (SMB)has earned a net profit of  Rs 1.3 million in the first quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 676 thousands of the corresponding period of the last FY.

The company with Rs 60 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 13.3 million. During the period, the company collected deposit of Rs 149.6 million, borrowed Rs 567.4 million and extended loan of Rs 735.4 million.

In the review period, the company earned Rs 9.4 million in net interest income.

The non-performing loan of the company increased to 3.86 percent from earlier 1.92 percent during the review period. It has EPS of Rs 9.11, P/E ratio of 46.24 and net worth per share of 122.27.
