Everest Bank Logs Plain Growth in Q1

Everest Bank (EBL) has increased its net profit by 9.06 percent to Rs 690.8 million in the first quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 633.3 million of corresponding period of the last FY.

As per the financial report published under NFRS format, the bank has distributable profit of Rs 2.63 billion. 

The bank with Rs 8.10 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 6.96 billion, share premium of Rs 238.4 million and shareholders fund of Rs 3.01 billion.

During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 134.74 billion and extended loan of Rs 109.53 billion. Similarly, the bank earned net interest income of Rs 1.43 billion and operating profit of Rs 986.9 million.

During the review period, the bank maintained EPS of Rs 34.43 and net worth per share of Rs 227.33.
