Nepal Bangladesh Bank Increases Net Profit by 33.32%

Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NBB) has increased its net profit by 33.32 percent to Rs 402.5 million in the first quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 301.9 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

As per the financial report published under NFRS format, the bank has distributable profit of Rs 148.6 million.

The bank with Rs 8.08 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 3.54 billion.

During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 58.37 billion and extended loan of Rs 55.85 billion. Similarly, the bank earned net interest income of Rs 747.9 million and operating profit of Rs 559.4 million.

During the review period, the bank maintained non-performing loan of 1.97 percent , EPS of Rs 19.91,  net worth per share of Rs 158.34 and P/E ratio of 10.25 times.
