Sabiako Laghubitta Raises Net Profit by 135%

Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SABSL) has increased its net profit by 134.8 percent to Rs 9.7 million in the first quarter of the current FY compared to the corresponding period of the last FY.

The company with Rs 186.4 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 18.9 million.

During the period, the company collected deposit of Rs 494.9 million, borrowed Rs 1.35 billion and extended loan of Rs 1.72 billion. Similarly, the company earned net interest income of Rs 32.3 million and operating profit of Rs 15.3 million.

During the review period, the company maintained non-performing loan of 0.68 percent, EPS of Rs 20.96, P/E ratio of 21.57 times and net worth per share of Rs 110.14.
