5 companies including 2 commercial banks conducting AGM today

Five lised companies including two commercial banks are conducting their AGMs today. Nepal Bank, Prime Commercial Bank, Kailash Bikas Bank, Grameen Bikas Bank and Himalayan Urja are conducting their AGM today at various locations.

Nepal Bank (NBL) is conducting its 60th AGM today in Nepal APF Club, Halchowk, Kathmandu.

The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 15 percent stock and 10 percent stock dividend to its shareholders. The bank is distributing the dividend after a long interval of 23 years.

Similarly, the meeting will increase its authorized capital to Rs 15 billion from Rs 10 billion by amend its article of association and memorandum of association.

Presently, the bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 9.81 billion that will reach Rs 11.28 billion after the bonus share distribution.

Similarly, Prime Commercial Bank (PCBL) is conducting its AGM today in Army Officers Club, Sundhara.

The meeting will endorse a proposal of acquiring Kailash Bikas Bank with a swap ratio of 100:94. Moreover, the meeting will approve a proposal of distributing 16 percent stock dividend.

Presently, the bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 9.68 billion, that will reach Rs 11.23 bilion after the bonus share distribution.

Likewise, Kailash Bikas Bank is conducting its AGM today in Amritbhog Party Palace, Kalikasthan, Kathmandu.

The meeting is scheduled to endorse a proposal of acquisition by Prime Commercial Bank. The meeting will approve a swap ratio of 100:94 for the acquisition.

Moreover, the meeting will delegate the authority to BOD to carry out all the required procedure for the acquisition.

Moreover, Grameen Bikas Bank (GBLBS) is conducting  its 5th AGM today in Hotel Pauwa, Tilotama, Rupandehi.

The AGM will delegate authority to BOD to forward merger/acquisition with a suitable partner and amend its article of association and memorandum of association.

Furthermore, Himalayan Urja Bikas company (HURJA) is conducting its AGM of last two FYs today in Baneshwor Banquet, Thapagaun.
