Shangrila Bank to Sell Promoter Shares

Shangrila Development Bank (SADBL) is set to sell 22,187 units promoter shares under the ownership of two of its shareholders.

Promoter shareholders Madhusudan Sharma and Anup Thapa submitted an application to the bank seeking approval to sell their promoter shares. Sharma desired to sell 20,000 units of share while Thapa desired to sell 2,187 units of share.

The shares are applicable by existing promoter shareholders of the bank within 35 days.

As per NRB directive, the existing promoter shareholders should be given first priority while selling promoter shares of any company. If the existing shareholders do not subscribe the shares, then only the shares will be sold to other individuals and companies.
