The market that opened after 50 days of closure since the lockdown opened on May 12. On the day, it was closed in one and half hour after the index fell by 2 percent.
Although the regulatory bodies opened the market for two hours, the market has not operated its full duration since the opening as the market falling in full swing.
The day saw stock trading of Rs 3.6 million where none of the listed companies records price rise. On the day, the NEPSE index fell by 24.58 points i.e. 2.01 percent to 1201.57 points. The index fell by 25 points on the previous day.
