226 New Cases of COVID-19 Confirmed on Monday

On Monday, an additional 226 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Nepal. Dr Bikas Devkota, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population confirmed the cases in the regular media briefing.

Out of 226 cases, 213 are males and 13 are females. The infected are 2 from Jhapa, 3 from Nawalparasi, 41 from Dailekh, 19 from Jumla, 10 from Salyan and 5 from Surkhet. Similarly, 40 from Kapilvastu, 18 from Rautahat, 7 from Banke, 9 from Dang, 7 from Dhanusha, 2 from Mohattari and 1 from Makwanpur has been infected by the deadly virus.

Moreover, 38 from Sarlahi, 5 from Siraha, 1 from Udaypur, 1 from Accham, 14 from Kailali, 1 from Baitadi, 1 from Doti and 1 from Kanchanpur also been infected by COVID-19. With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached 1,798 in Nepal. 

Similarly, one has recovered from the deadly virus, with this, the number of recovered patients has reached 221 in Nepal.
