Mega Bank and Gandaki Bikas signed the acquisition agreement on the September 25. The SGM endorsed all the acquisition agreement done by the merger committee. Moreover, the meeting also delegates authority to BOD to amend article of association.
After the acquisition, the bank has paid-up capital of Rs 13.13 billion, deposit of Rs 125 billion and loan extension of Rs 109 billion. The joint entity will serve its 1.1 million customers through 206 branches, 30 extension counters and 142 ATMs.
