COVID-19 Cases Exceed 50,000 in Nepal;572 in Kathmandu Valley

The number of COVID-19 cases has exceeded 50,000 in Nepal with the addition of 1,246 on Thursday. With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached 50,465 in the country. Out of them, 14,448 are active cases.

Out of the total detected cases today, 572 are from Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu reported 495, Lalitpur 43 and Bhaktapur reported 34 infections.

Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 1,818 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery. The number of total recovered cases has reached 35,700 in the country.

In the meantime, 5 individuals lost their life due to COVID-19 in Nepal in the last 24 hours. The number of death due to the deadly disease has reached 317 in the country.
