NEPSE Suspends Trading of 24 Listed Companies on Sunday

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has suspended stock trading of 24 companies on Sunday. As per NEPSE, the stock trading of the companies was suspended because of non-payment of renewal charges.

The suspended companies include 12 manufacturing and procession, 6 finance companies, 3 hydropower companies, two trading companies, one hotel and one other group’s company.

The listed companies are required to pay the renewal fees to NEPSE within three months of end of the FY. Non-payment leads to suspension of trading in the stock market.

As per Securities Listing Guidelines 2075, listed companies with share listing of Rs 500 million are required to pay Rs 50,000 while above that the companies are required to pay Rs 100,000 to NEPSE.
