British College Offers ACCA Program

The British Professional College owned by The British College Kathmandu has offered the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) programme. The ACCA is the largest and fastest-growing international professional accountancy body, with over 527,000 students and 219,000 fully qualified members spread across 179 countries worldwide.

Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, the college informed that it is accredited by the ACCA as a GOLD ALP, this recognizes the quality of tuition, student experience and the pass rates. The college has prepared hundreds of students for ACCA examinations since 2012, has an excellent profile that includes top performing students – an ACCA World exam topper and also frequent ACCA Nepal country toppers.

According to the statement, the college has invested in state of the art infrastructure, second to none student services and offers a separate internship and placement department to help students find articleship and placements. The college has MOUS with various organizations to support this.

“With expert tutors with varied, relevant professional experience for all ACCA papers, we are the only ALP in Nepal to run regular classes using online platforms for all levels during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the college has been organizing online classes as an alternative arrangement. Remotely invigilated mock exams and final ACCA examinations are conducted during lockdown despite the COVID-19 crisis,” reads the statement.
