Nepal Investment Bank Starts Issuing ‘8.5% Nepal Investment Bank Bond 2084’ from today

Nepal Investment Bank (NIB) has started issuing “8.5% Nepal Investment Bank Bond 2084” debenture from today, January 29.

The bank is issuing 4 million units of debenture worth Rs 4 billion at a face value of Rs 1,000. Out of total offered debentures, the bank will issue 2.4 million to private investors while the remaining 1.6 million units will be issued to the general public.

The interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 250,000 units of debenture. The issue will close early on February 2 and lately on February 12.

The debenture will be mature in 7 years and yield 8.5 percent interest payable semi-annually.

ICRA Nepal has assigned Single A rating to the issue indicating low credit risk.

The bank has appointed RBB Merchant Banking as its issue manager. The investors can apply from all C-ASBA approved BFIs.
