Nepal Infrastructure Bank Publishes Q2 Report

Nepal Infrastructure Bank that recently issued IPO has published its second-quarter financial report. As per the report, the net profit and income of the bank have declined during the period.

In the review period, the bank earned Rs 352.2 million in net profit. The net profit decreased by 12.54 percent compared to Rs 402.7 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

A decrease in net interest income can be attributed to the decline in net profit. The bank logged a distributable profit of Rs 276 million during the period.

In the review period, the net interest income of the bank decreased by 7.72 percent to Rs 569.4 million while its operating profit decreased by 12.32 percent to Rs 503.5 million.

The bank with Rs 12 billion in [paid-up capital has a reserve fund of Rs 1.94 billion. It collected deposits of Rs 324.4 million and extended loans of Rs 1.61 billion.

The bank logged EPS of Rs 5.87 and net worth per share of Rs 116.19.
