Another record number of COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Nepal on Friday

Nepal has confirmed yet another highest number of COVID-19 cases detected in 24 hours’ time till date. On May 7, the country registered 9,196 new cases of COVID-19.

As per the information given by Ministry of Health and Population, the cases were detected through 20,482 PCR test conducted in the last 24 hours. During the time, 50 people lost their life.

Out of the total number of cases detected today, 3,089 are from Kathmandu, 643 are from Lalitpur and 374 from Bhaktapur totaling 4,106 from the valley.

Similarly, 2,905 people were discharged after recovery from COVID-19.

 As per the spokesperson of Ministry, Nepal currently has a total of 78,629 active cases of COVID-19.
