Net Profit of Laxmi Laghubitta Increases by 196.01%

Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (LLBS) has published a fourth quarter report of the last FY.

As per the report, the company increased its net profit by 196.01 percent to Rs 193.1 million in the fourth quarter of the last FY compared to the corresponding period of the previous FY.

Increase in net interest income and operating profit as well as minimal provisioning in possible losses can be attributed to the increase its net profit.

In the review period, the net interest income of the company increased by 46.27 percent and operating profit by 198.79 percent.  During the period, it maintained provision for possible losses of Rs 65.8 million which is 40.72 percent less than the previous FY.

 In the review period, the company raised its reserve fund by 107.88 percent. Its borrowing increased by 49.41 percent, deposits by 36.10 percent and loan extensions by 45.27 percent.

The company logged EPS of Rs 60.36, net worth per share of Rs 213.83 and P/E ratio of 37.94 times.
