Previously, the bank announced of distributing 8.5 percent cash dividend including tax to its shareholders.
However, after the first amendment in Dividend of BFIs related Guideline, 2077, NRB directed the bank to propose the dividend that complies with the directive.
Thus, the bank has now proposed of distributing 8 percent stock and Rs 84.2 million cash dividend for tax purposes.
The proposed dividend is subjected to approval from NRB and its upcoming AGM.
