As per the first quarter report of the companies, 23 companies have recorded above Rs 10 million in net profit while 7 have incurred losses. Out of all listed companies, 7 companies have not started generating electricity.
During the period, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower has earned the highest net profit of Rs 860 million. Similarly, Ridi Hydropower has earned Rs 450 million and Moutain Energy earned Rs 290 million in the review period. In the meantime, Shivashree Hydropower has incurred Rs 100 million in losses which is the highest in the industry.
In terms of paid-up capital, Upper Tamakoshi has the highest capital of Rs 10.59 billion while Divyashori Hydropower has the lowest paid-up capital of Rs 260 million.
In terms of sales, Upper Tamakoshi earned the highest income of Rs 1.72 billion while Ghalemdi Hydro earned the lowest income of Rs 18 million.
Ridi Hydropower has logged the highest EPS of Rs 311.12 followed by Mountain Energy logged Rs 59.64 and Panchthar Power logged 106.03. In the meantime, 7 companies have loss per share during the period.
Similarly, Ridi Hydropower logged the highest net worth per share of Rs 177.84 and Chilime logged net worth per share of Rs 164.
