As per NEA, it cut the facility as per the direction of the Ministry of Energy to reduce fuel consumption. The ministry directed all concerned bodies to reduce consumption as per the direction given government citing an increase in petroleum products, and pressure on foreign reserves.
As per the decision, employees who used to get 120 liters of monthly fuel facility will get 80 liters. Similarly, those employees who take two-wheeler facility will be given 13 liters instead of 16 liters after 20 percent reduction.
