Previously, Shiwakoti was deputy governor of NRB while Acharya was formerly executive director of NRB. He retired after serving NRB for 30 years.
The posts of NRB directors were vacant since Shri Ram Poudel and Ramji Regmi took retirement from service. The Cabinet of Ministers appointed them as NRB directors for five years.
