The 20th AGM of Ridi Hydropower held on 29 October 2021 and17th AGM of Rairang Hydropower held on November 3, 2021 endorsed a proposal of merger. After the merger, the companies started joint transaction in the name of Ridi Power Company. The joint entity is headquartered at Trade Tower, Thapathali, Kathmandu.
The company obtained a final approval for merger from Electricity Regulation Commission and Company Registrar on July 14.
