Gold Price Reaches Record Height

The gold price is creating new record every now and then. On April 16, the gold price increased by Rs 1700 per tola to make new record in domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold is Rs 139,200 per tola and tejabi gold is Rs 138,550 per tola today.

On April 15, the price of fine gold was Rs 137,500 per tola and tejabi gold was Rs 136,850 per tola.

Previously, the gold price made record on April 12. On the day, the price of fine gold was Rs 139,000 per tola and tejabi gold was Rs 138,350 per tola.

The gold price is increasing due to ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukrain as well as Iran and Isreal. Moreover, the increasing value of US Dollar is also escalating the price of yellow metal in both domestic and international market.  

Similarly, the silver has also increased by Rs 35 to Rs 1,750 per tola on the day.
