On the day, the stock exchange suspended its trading due to the company’s failure to provide information in time.
The company decided to distribute stock dividend of 2.2211 percent on March 20, 1:30 pm. However, the company informed NEPSE about the same on March 21, 11:17 am.
As per Securities Listing Guidelines, 2075 section 22(1), companies are required to inform NEPSE about any decision which can effect the stock price on the very day or the next day before trading starts.
NEPSE has directed the company to submit clarification within three days.
