4 Hydropower Companies Obtain Right Approval in Current FY, 1/3 Companies in Pipeline

Out of 91 listed hydropower companies in Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), one third companies are planning to issue right shares citing investment in new projects and repaying bank loans.

Currently, a total of 91 hydropower companies are listed in NEPSE, out of them, 31 are preparing to issue right shares. Among them, 11 companies are already in the pipeline of Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), one is issuing the right share and others have endorsed right proposal from their AGMs.
