Unilever Nepal Becomes 1st Company to Trade above Rs 50,000 per unit

Unilever Nepal (UNL) has become the first company to trade above Rs 50,000 in the domestic market.

On Thursday, 1:30 pm, the stock price of the company jumped by 8.62 percent to trade at Rs 52,999. In the previous day, the price of the stock was Rs 48,794.70.

Recently, the company through its AGM decided to raise its authorized capital to Rs 2.14 billion. Right now,  the company has authorized capital of Rs 300 million and paid-up capital of Rs 92 million. The company has been providing Rs 1000 per unit dividend to its shareholders.
