Dibyashwori Hydropower’s Loss Increases with Decreased Income

Dibyashwori Hydropower (DHPL) has published fourth quarter report of the last FY.

As per the report, the company’s loss has increased compared to the corresponding period of the previous FY.

During the period, the company incurred loss of Rs 39.1 million compared to Rs 38.2 million of the corresponding period of the previous FY.

Decline in sales income can be attributed to the decline in net profit.

In the review period, the company’s sales income declined to Rs 80.8 million from previously Rs 86 million. Similarly, its total income declined to Rs 81.3 million from Rs 86.1 million while its total profit also declined to Rs 73.6 million from Rs 81.8 million.

The company logged LPS of Rs 14.82 and net worth per share of Rs 7.82.

The company with Rs 264 million in paid-up capital has reserve loss of Rs 297.8 million.
