A meeting of the Board of Directors of the NOC has decided to drop the price of petrol by Rs 1 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 per liter and internal aviation fuel price by Rs 6 per liter with effect from Tuesday morning.
The petrol price has been fixed at Rs 155.2, Rs 157 and Rs 158 per liter respectively in the first, second and third category areas, while diesel and kerosene have been fixed at Rs 144.5, Rs 146 and Rs 147 per liter respectively.
The state-owned corporation has listed Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj in the first category, Surkhet and Dang in the second category and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots in the third category.
In case of internal aviation fuel, the fuel has been priced at Rs 126 per liter whereas for international aviation price, the fuel will cost 960 USD for Kathmandu and USD 860 per liter for Bhairahawa.
