NAV of Mutual Funds Declines in Bhadra

The net asset value (NAV) of mutual funds has declined in Bhadra. The average NAV of 43 mutual funds declined by Rs 1.51 to Rs 11.41 in Bhadra compared to Rs 12.92 of Shrawan.

Right now, there are 43 mutual funds including 36 close ended and 7 open ended mutual funds.

Among the funds, NMB Sulav Investment Fund-2, operated by NMB Capital has logged the highest NAV of Rs 13.51 per unit which was Rs 15.19 in Shrawan. Meanwhile, NIBL Stable Fund, operated under NIMB Ace Capital logged the lowest NAV of Rs 9.98 which is low than its face value.

Mutual Funds Cuts Investment in Stocks

The mutual funds which had Rs 43.30 billion in stock investment in Shrawan declined by 11.34 percent to Rs 38.39 billion in Bhadra.

NIBL Sahavagita Fund which invested Rs 2.63 billion in listed stocks in Shrawan brought down the investment to Rs 2.53 billion in Bhadra. Meanwhile, NIC Asia Dynamic Debt Fund logged the lowest investment of Rs 265 million in listed shares which was Rs 301.9 million in Shrawan.

In Bhadra NIBL Stable Fund marked the highest growth in listed stocks. The mutual fund raised its stock investment to Rs 771.8 million compared to Rs 588.8 million of Shrawan.

Likewise, mutual funds have invested Rs 814.4 million in unlisted shares in Bhadra.

Mutual Funds Raise Bank Balance in Bhadra

The mutual funds have raised their bank balance to Rs 8.56 billion in Bhadra compared to Rs 8.18 billion of Shrawan.

However, they have decreased their fixed deposits in Bhadra. The mutual funds had maintained Rs 3.52 billion in fixed deposits in Shrawan which declined to Rs 3.03 billion in Bhadra.
