The companies are closing their books on October 14 and 15 respectively for upcoming AGM, thus, the shareholders registered in their books till today, October 9 (last trading day before book close) will be eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.
Unilever Nepal is conducting 31st AGM on October 28, in The Everest Hotel, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu at 4.30 pm.
The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing Rs 1,714 per unit cash dividend to its shareholders. Moreover, the meeting will approve financial support to social and community projects under corporate social responsibility and appoint an auditor.
Similarly, Citizens Bank International (CZBIL) is conducting its AGM on October 28, in Amritbhog, Kalikasthan, Dillibazar, Kathmandu at 9 am.
The meeting will endorse a proposal of 4 percent stock and 0.21 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. Moreover, the meeting will delegate authority to forward merger/acquisition with suitable partners, to go into foreign partnership and to amend article and memorandum of association.
