As per the published notices, the banks have continued the interest rate provided on Poush for Magh.
Out of 20 commercial banks, seventeen have maintained the same interest rate on individual fixed deposits. The remaining three banks have cut rates, while one has raised them.
Agriculture Development Bank and Nepal SBI Bank cut their interest rates compared to the month of Poush, while Laxmi Sunrise Bank raised them.
The average interest rates declined by an average of 0.0155 percent points compared to Poush.
