The fund consists of 100 million mutual fund units worth Rs 1 billion. In the first phase, the company is issuing 40 percent, which is 40 million mutual fund units worth Rs 400 million. Of those 40 million units, the company has allotted 13 million to fund promoter Sanima Bank and 2 million to fund manager Sanima Capital. The remaining 25 million mutual fund units will be issued to the general public.
Sanima Flexi Fund is an open-ended mutual fund scheme. Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of 4 million units.
The issue will close early on February 23 and lately on March 4.
The company has appointed Sanima Capital as issue manager. The investors can apply from all ASBA approved BFIs and Meroshare.
ICRA Nepal has assigned A- rating to the issuer indicating adequate safety.
